Today I have a whole ton of art to share with you all! From the race designs that will be featured at the beginning of the book to the chapter headers and the map – this book has a whole lotta art going into it. So let’s just dive right in!
The Map…
The map shown above was made by Saumya Singh (@Saumyasvision/Inkarnate). While most of the story takes place in the capital city of Lyreas – many important figures from the districts of Vasyla come to the capital for the end of year festivals. Some of our characters venture far outside the city as well. Also, look at the shards of the statues! Perfect representation for the Shards of the Aspects, the main religious figures of the book. I honestly cannot get over how stunning this turned out thanks to Saumya!
The Races…
Next up we have the race designs! Race Design by Senrouk @senrouk_arts – absolutely outstanding work here! They absolutely brought the designs to life. From left to right we have: Centaur, Voltuan, Human, Cylcops, Ophiophor, and Skorvian! Out of them all my personal favorite is the Skorvians! The scorpion type race known for their abilities of crafting poisons and their resistance to sirens – very important for a seaside capital city! The Chapter Art…
Finally, we have the chapter header and section divider artwork. The artwork comes from the fantastic group Etheric Tales – I’ve actually already worked with them for art for my next project as well! They are a phenomenal group to work with, and I recommend them to any indie author I talk to! Look at how lovely they look! It features a helmet and spear along with the symbol of Vasyla, the Clematis flower.
Overall, I am so lucky to have been able to work with so many extraordinary artists for this project, and I cannot wait to release this book for you all to read! Currently it’s looking like May will be the release month if everything goes right, so keep an ear out for the release date drop!
